Chase Bass in Stunning Environments

fly fishing for bass

The Georgia native Shoal Bass is an aggressive species typically found in fast, rocky water. Similarly, the Spotted (Alabama) Bass is known as a strong fighter that loves the current. For those seeking intensity, the Largemouth Bass is characterized by its big mouth and explosive strikes that lead to big blow-ups. If you prefer fast action, White Bass are schooling fish that keep anglers busy. Last but not least, Hybrid Bass are the powerful cross between white bass and stripers and are often caught in packs.

“I have been fly fishing only for the past two years, so a guide can truly make or break my day on the river.  Dillon is simply terrific at making the experience productive and instructive.  He has guided two trips for me and never once made me feel that my lack of experience was a problem or hindrance.  He got me to the right spots to make my casts easier and offered advice only when I really needed it.  His knowledge of the rivers and where the fish were trending was impressive. I appreciate his professionalism, hard work and always upbeat attitude.  The fact that we also caught some nice fish made the trips even better. I will be using Dillon when I return next year.”
